Manchester City kicked off their pre-season tour of the United States as the team of Pep Guardiola got defeated by Celtic with 4-3.
It was budget midfielder Oscar Bobb (MID, 5.0m) who stole the whole show with one goal and two assists in this game, also to note that Erling Haaland (FWD, 15m) scored his first goal of the pre-season tour.
Interestgnly, Bobb is owned less than 1% at Fantasy Premier League in this moment, so it stays unclear will he gets a good amount of minutes in the new season at Premier League.
Nottingham Forest won their match against Millwall with 2-1, and the two goals for the Premier League side were scored by Callum Hudson-Odoi (MID, 5.5m) and Chris Wood (FWD, 6.0m).
Callum Hudson-Odoi is very interesting and more than solid differential at FPL, with less than 6% TSB. Also to note, he’s got one goal and two assists so far in the pre-season. It’s important to note the stats from Chris Wood, who also can be a solid differential with just less than 4% TSB so far. The striker has scored two goals in two matches so far.
Leicester won their match against Shrewsbury with 1-2, and the scorers for the Premier League side were Kasey McAteer (MID, 5.0m) and Stephy Mavididi (MID, 5.5m).
Important to note: Mavididi is the first taker of direct free-kicks and corners at Leicester, and we should keep an eye on him in the pre-season friendly games.
