fantasy premier league draft picks tips differentials team selection
Our Pro Pundit made his first draft: Haaland, Salah, Gordon, Eze…

Fantasy Premier League is back, and we are here with our advice and team selection, so this is my first draft.

Kulusevski could become a fantastic option if he plays as a false nine

Is this detail for Havertz worrying from the FPL point of view?

One to monitor: With this position and price at FPL, he can be a great differential

GOALKEAPERS: Robert Sanchez (CHE, 4.5m), Mark Flekken (BRE, 4.5m)

Im not decided yet who will have in my final team, but that depends on the transfer window, final word from selectors, and fixture ticker. So wait and see! For now, it is Sanchez or Flekken.

DEFENDERS: Pedro Porro (TOT, 5.5m), Leif Davis (IPS, 4.5m), Antonee Robinson 4.5 (FUL, 4.5m), Joachim Andersen (CRY, 4.5m), Valentin Barco (BHA, 4.0m)

This season with the new rules for goals conceded and bonus points system (bps) changing for defenders, I personally think that is not worth spending our money on high-priced defenders, especially at the beginning, because, from my experience, every start in the new season the teams are not fully prepared and always concede a goal in the first half of the season and that the clean sheet came in the second half of the season. For that reason, I will start with full backs and goal threat players who are in the set pieces and corners and have good fixture tickers, leaving more money for midfielders and strikers, who I think will benefit from those new rules.

Just for the record, this season we will have at the end of a season at least 70 points total less from defense and a minimum 50 points more from striker and midfielder after bps changing.

MIDFILDERS: Mohamed Salah (LIV, 12.5m), Anthony Gordon (NEW, 7.5m), Eberechi Eze (CRY, 7.0m), Leon Bailey 6.5 (AVL, 6.5m), Callum Hudson-Odoi (NFO, 5.5m)

No brainer for the Salah, Eze, and Gordon; they are locked in for my team. Now. We all know now, and we can see in the percentage of team selection that there are musts at the start of the season.

Hudson-Odoi was very strong last season, and from a general point of view, Nottingham Forest played in a very attacking style, and I think with that price and fixture they have, they may give a chance to my team for the first three fixtures, and then we will see.
Same word and thinking for Bailey: after Diaby’s departure, he will get more minutes, stabilize his form, and for that price, I think he will be a good pick, and it’s important that he can cover the points scored by Ollie Watkins (FWD, 9.0 m) for those who cannot afford in their team, the main player of Aston Villa.

In my mind are also Christopher Nkunku (CHE, 6.5m), but I need more news and time to see if he will play, in which position, and how many minutes he could get in the new season. He has 2 hard fixtures, so my opinion is to wait and see.

FORWARDS: Erling Haaland (MCI, 15.0m), Alexander Isak (NEW, 8.5m), Adam Armstong (SOU, 5.5m), or Ollie Watkins (AVL, 9.0m).

Some managers are team Haaland or team Salah, but I will go with both because it is easy. There is captain material in both of them, especially in the first two fixtures with the newly promoted side, Ipswich, and then 85 percent of a captain choice will be Haaland, Salah, or Palmer, and in the start of the Fantasy Premier League if they score 2, 3 goals and you don’t have them. It’s very hard to transfer in them; you will have to ruin your team to get money or be wildcarding, and if they score, the price will rise very soon.

Armstrong is a very good bargain pick after a very strong season in the Championship. After they signed Brereton Diaz, they will be very dangerous at home, especially with the home crowd, and they have very good fixtures.

I strongly recommended Watkins. of course, but we don’t have 105m, so you must have another solution and cover for some players, and I think Bailey is here to cover the points of Watkins for 6.5 mil. I’m not decided yet. I’m 50-50 on that decision because Aston Villa has two hard opening fixtures and I have time to watch and see.

This is my first draft anyway, but 80 percent of my team is locked in for now. I will make my final decision in the next couple of days.
